Mobile Payment refers to payment services operated under financial regulation and performed from or via a mobile device. Instead of paying with cash, check, or physical credit cards, consumers can use their smartphones to pay for a wide range of services and digital or hard goods. Mobile payment technologies include mobile wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Wallet), NFC-based contactless payments, and QR code payments.
