About the role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Event Travel Manager to handle both online and offline events and to drive the development and improvement of our company’s event initiatives. If you’re passionate about events and bringing people together, join us!

Responsibilities

    • Handle the complete cycle of preparing the company for international offline exhibitions in the Fintech industry (conferences, exhibitions, etc.)
    • Book tickets, hotel accommodations, and exhibition spaces
    • Oversee contract negotiations with airlines and hotels; handle merchandise logistics
    • Address and resolve any travel-related issues or changes that arise before or during events
    • Manage all stages of event planning: brainstorming, budgeting, scheduling, organizing, executing, and reviewing
    • Provide printing materials and business cards for external events
    • Prepare and organize delivery of New Year’s presents to partners
    • Build and maintain relationships with key industry contacts, suppliers, and partners
    • Collaborate closely with HR, Marketing, Design team, and Department Heads to align event objectives with company goals
    • Organize and manage internal company events, including workshops, team-buildings, and other activities to increase the level of team engagement
    • Inform employees about news and events in the company
    • Bring innovative ideas to life, take the initiative, and push boundaries to deliver exceptional event experiences
    • Prepare and process event reports and surveys, analyze results, and present findings
    • Initiate financial and legal document flow related to the events and review event bills for accuracy and approve payment

Requirements & skills

    • 1+ years of experience in event planning and travel management
    • Creative, attentive to details, and able to present information professionally
    • Ability to work effectively with HR and other departments
    • Proficiency in budget management and financial planning
    • Ability to work with deadlines
    • Experience with marketing materials (print media, promotional products, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting and data analysis
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards in event management
    • Great communication skills both written and oral in English
    • Understanding the fintech sector is a plus
