Beneficiary

A Beneficiary is a person or entity that is entitled to receive funds or other benefits from a financial transaction, trust, insurance policy, will, or other legal agreement. In banking and financial transactions, the beneficiary is the recipient of the funds being transferred. For example, in a wire transfer, the person or entity receiving the money is the beneficiary.
