CVV/ CVC

CVV (Card Verification Value) and CVC (Card Verification Code) are security features for credit and debit card transactions, typically used in online and over-the-phone purchases to verify that the cardholder has the physical card. These codes are usually three or four digits long and are found on the back of the card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) or on the front (American Express). The CVV/CVC helps prevent unauthorized use of the card in transactions where the card is not physically present.
